There are few things as captivating as watching a young athlete rising through the ranks, whose leadership, skill, and dedication are eclipsed only by their humility. One such story is that of Niri French, a middle linebacker with a heart full of dreams and a willpower that can move mountains. Off the field, Niri is a natural-born leader, honed by his experience as the eldest of eight siblings. His understanding of responsibility and guiding others transcends the confines of his family, spilling over onto the football field where he sets the tone for his teammates. His philosophy echoes loudly, "On and off the field, it’s Family Over Everything (FOE)."
The driving force behind Niri's love for football is his father, Irin French. It was he who introduced Niri to the captivating allure of the sport, shaping him into the disciplined player he is today. The bond they share is a testament to their shared passion and love for the game. If Niri were to paint a picture of himself, he'd be on a serene beach at sunset, observing the rhythmic dance of the waves. This image encapsulates his philosophy of life - tranquility amid chaos, finding peace even when surrounded by the tempest of life's trials. This echoes his belief that after all the accomplishments and accolades, all you have is your peace.

Looking towards the future, Niri's dream is to play for JSU. He believes that his leadership and team spirit will fit right in with the Tigers. His aspirations extend beyond the field too - to becoming an entrepreneur, a testament to his ambition and foresight. One particular memory stands out in his journey so far. In the 6th grade, during a high-stakes game with scores tied at 24-24, Niri committed a horse collar foul. Fueled by adrenaline, he learned a vital lesson that day - the power of focus. He channeled his frustration into a fierce drive, taking down the quarterback in a spectacular display. He carries this lesson with him today, passing it on to younger players - focus is key to achieving your goals.
Niri's ambitions are fueled by a desire to achieve what his family couldn't. His goal is to be D1 by the end of his junior year or the summer of his senior year. The pressure of this quest doesn't daunt him, instead, it lights a fire within him. He thrives on mid-game pressure, basking in the adrenaline rush that only football can bring. His high school career goals are nothing short of ambitious: he aims to become the best tackler in high school history, targeting 35 solo tackles his junior year, and an impressive 60 the following year, complete with 5 interceptions and 10 fumbles.

But Niri's journey is not a solo one. He credits his growth to his supportive coach, Coach Simon. Even though he's transferring to a new school, Coach Simon's guidance continues to inspire him. This is a testament to the bond they've built, based on mutual respect and love for the game. Niri is a silent force to reckon with. Behind his calm demeanor lies an athlete driven by dedication and an unwavering work ethic. His goal is to receive an offer by year's end, a feat we're confident he'll achieve.
This gifted 15-year-old's love for the game goes beyond what one might expect. His commitment to the sport and his unflinching determination underscore his mantra - "I'd do anything to be on the field at any time." As he steps into each new day, his gratitude goes to the highest - "I thank GOD every single day for my mindset. He’s the ruler of all rulers, king of kings. God bless."
Niri French is not just a young man chasing his dreams, he's an inspiration. His story is a testament to the power of dedication, leadership, and an unyielding spirit. As he quietly rises to the top, we'll be cheering for every victory he achieves on and off the field.
