"The color green represents freshness or newness, and I'm made new every day by Jesus. The squiggly lines represent how random I can be. "I have always been a Cyclone fan...Some main things I love about Iowa State is the competitive spirit every one of the students and athletes has," he admits.

"Nothing is ever for sure and set in stone things change all the time so don't be complacent, always be hungry and strive for better," he echoes, his words a testament to his indomitable spirit.

His driving force? The thrill of playing on a grand stage to glorify God and proving naysayers wrong. "When I started to get interest from colleges, it felt so good to prove some people wrong," he confides with a grin.

In the high-wire act of balancing academics and athletics, Caden emphasizes the importance of maintaining good grades. "If you have bad grades, you can't play the sports you love. If you focus on your academics, the athletics will come," he advises, his words resonating wisdom far beyond his years.

Pressure, Caden says, doesn't bother him. For him, it’s faith and trust in God that offers a profound sense of grounding. "Knowing if something bad or good happens, it's His plan and there is a reason behind it almost gives me immunity to some of my mistakes," he confesses.

"I want people to look at me and see Christ shine out of me, I want to leave a big impact on Clear Lake. I want people to remember me as the kid people didn't think would make it big but did because he worked hard."
