It's not every day you come across a freshman football player with the same charisma, vibrancy, and leadership qualities as Tyson Summers. A promising new face in college football, Tyson is a testament to the old saying, "Leadership doesn't require age, it requires action."

"I have three more years to play, and the role I play on the team is crucial. It feels like a lot of responsibility," Tyson shares, radiating a maturity that belies his freshman status.

But Tyson Summers is more than a formidable force on the field. Off the field, he's someone who always looks out for others, adding warmth and joy to the lives of those around him.

"Beyond the field, I think of someone who always looks out and cares for others as well as someone to have fun with," he says. His spirit of community and love for fun is infectious, and this has become an integral part of his identity.

Being open and a great listener are other elements Tyson prides himself on, always willing to be on the go and ready to adapt. His humor and high energy are the vibrant values he contributes to his team. Tyson explains, "I think the most vibrant values would be the energy I can bring and my humor."

When asked about his dream team, Tyson's choices reflect his deep love for the sport and respect for his roots. FSU, his childhood favorite, UCF, his hometown team, or Colorado, for Coach Prime, all sit high on his list.

His wisdom is grounded in understanding the gift of the game. He says, "I can recall a time where my coach has said, 'Be grateful to play football, even if you don't get playing time because there are others that don't get our opportunity.' I would share this with younger kids to keep them playing football."

His journey has also taught him that life doesn't always hand you what you want, a lesson he believes has contributed to his growth. Tyson's motivation is clear: he aims to make his parents and grandparents proud and use his talent in a positive way.

When faced with family challenges, he learned a valuable lesson in empathy. "You should always check on somebody no matter what," he insists, showing an understanding of emotional well-being.

As for managing his busy schedule, he relies on routine and consistency, something he highly recommends for young aspiring athletes. And when it comes to game day, he gets into the zone by tuning out the noise, focusing on the game, and getting hyped.

Ultimately, Tyson hopes to leave a mark on his fellow players and the school, showing his peers what leadership looks like. His freshman coaches taught him all he needed to know about football, and he credits them for where he is today.

"The way I can uplift somebody and the whole team, and get the team ready for a game while bringing the energy and being a leader, is what sets me apart from others," Tyson asserts. His blend of humility, talent, and leadership paints the picture of a bright future. As he continues to grow both on and off the field, the name Tyson Summers is one we should all remember.
