Tigran Babayan is a force to be reckoned with. He is not just a steadfast athlete on the field, or an exceptional student off it, but above all, a testament to the power of human spirit. His story, filled with the rawness of life’s trials and the sweet taste of victory, is not only an inspiration, but a heartfelt lesson in resilience.
Babayan recounts, "One big part of who I am is a determined person that loves working towards my goals. And I give my absolute 1000% in anything I do." It is this fervor that forms the backbone of his story. Whether it's excelling in sports, mastering his education, or navigating the unpredictable tides of life, Tigran embodies an unwavering determination.
"When my family first moved here, we struggled with everything," he remembers. Despite these challenges, Tigran found solace in the kindness of others, and it is this generosity that fueled his ambition. "Because of a lot of kind people, my family and I are here today. So, I try to do my best to help as many people as I can." This spirit of giving back is etched deeply in his character, guiding his journey through life.

Tigran defines himself through "consistency and determination." These two words, he says, "have got me through a lot." They have seen him through the darkest of times, shedding light on the path forward, and leading him to where he stands today.
Although his story contains its share of heart-wrenching moments, it is Tigran's perspective that truly stands out. One piece of advice from his grandmother particularly resonates with him: "There is nothing bad in life, only the things you have and haven't learned." This advice propelled him to embrace every challenge as an opportunity for growth, a stepping-stone towards greatness.
His move to the U.S was a turning point. "We were lost," Tigran recalls. In the midst of family tragedy and linguistic barriers, Tigran found his calling. The adversity ignited a fire within him – a relentless determination to ensure his family never had to face such trials again. It was here that he found football, a sport he'd come to love, serving as an escape from reality and a means to secure a promising future.
Babayan admits, "My driving force is my future, which in turn determines my family's future." His dream isn't pinned to a specific school, rather, it is the game he so dearly loves that fuels his aspirations. A D1 prospect, to him, is more than just an athletic achievement; it's an opportunity to make his mark and solidify his family's future.
Tigran is no stranger to adversity. He had to navigate the tumultuous waters of bullying upon first entering American school. Yet, instead of letting it break him, he took the negativity in stride. "I stopped taking it to heart and realized the problem wasn't in me, it was in the kids making fun of me. And I stopped listening to them," Tigran recalls, underlining the strength of his character.

"Brain is a muscle," Tigran asserts, understanding the value of both physical and intellectual prowess. His advice to younger athletes is as profound as it is pragmatic: "Take school seriously, because that is also a big part of your future."
Tigran’s journey is more than just an athlete’s pursuit for excellence, it's a testament to an individual’s capacity to grow, adapt and overcome. His legacy, he says, is to be "a kind person that pushes others to be their best
